The weekly markets are one form of inter-tribal relations and very attractive seen in the area. Before the introduction of money economy in recent times, an important means of economic exchanges was by means of Barter. Important trading commodities in the markets are coffee shall, razor blades, Iron wares, honey, butter, millet, different ornaments, cattle, etc
The tribal people in this valley accomplish various rites pertaining to different social occasions.
